John Kavanagh || Tubas in the Moonlight

I had only known John Kavanagh through his wonderful music. We passed a few e-mails when I wanted to purchase his parlour music CD. I shared the CD with Steven Strauss and he also contacted John and sent him a copy of his UkeBox Music CD. John lived in far off Nova Scotia, Canada. Through the few YouTube videos I had seen his spirit with his friends, as a music teacher, and as gifted musician.

This next video isn't a Bari video but it is a memorial to a man with a Bari-sized heart. I think this joyful song says it all about the man.

I was listening to a few of my ukulele CD's. I think I've had this for about three years. It may be the only album cover with a Baritone ukulele shown with the artist. The liner notes say that this CD can be downloaded at iTunes, or bought from CD Baby. I think I bought it directly from John over the internet.
