I am not familiar with this old tune but is very sweetly played on an old 1940's [*] Silvertone Baritone Uke. [*I think it must be 50's since the Bari-Uke was first built in 1949 by Herk Favilla.]
Thats interesting, I guess you have never been to many Protestant church houses, we even sing it from time to time in the Catholic Church that I belong to here in the maritimes. It was written in 1912 by a Methodist.
The more I listen to music, I come across many songs that I had never heard before. I have been listening to the songs on the CD from the Parking Lot Pickers songbook and there are plenty of songs that I don't know. As a teen I was in Younglife and went to a Presbyterian church. My wife was raised Catholic.
