Today Wendy and I went to Sonora, California to the 36th Annual Sonora Christmas Festival. We were on the hunt for some great Christmas gifts, good food and music. This festival has non-stop entertainment. I wanted to see Sourdough Slim again because he has that western clean corny humor that'll make you chuckle and he is an amazing yodeling cowboy. Sourdough was performing with Robert Armstrong of the Cheap Suit Serenaders.
I made it to the first performance in time to get the last seat in the front row. Robert was set and ready and Slim was bringing in his instruments and much to my delight he pulled out a baritone ukulele (as pictured above) and began to tune it! He also plays Guitar, Harmonica, and Accordian. Sourdough tuned every instrument probably because the weather has been so much colder recently. Robert played the Lap Steel, Guitar, Banjo and Saw.
